Save-On-Foods a Welcome Addition to the Community.

CALLAHAN PROPERTY GROUP IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT SAVE-ON-FOODS IS NOW OPEN AT MISSION VILLAGE.

The Family and Friends event saw a tremendous turnout, Bruce and Bob Callahan joined Paul Davidson, Store Manager of Save-On-Foods, along with the Save-On-Foods team and Kelowna Mayor Tom Dyas to celebrate the grand opening.

The new 30,000 sq. ft. building offers an enhanced grocery shopping experience, embodying the store’s promise of “a bit more”. Situated in the heart of the Ponds area, this Save-On-Foods location elevates shopping and take-out options, featuring a Save-On-Foods Kitchen and coffee bar offering everything from signature sandwiches to sushi. Customers can enjoy these delights on the patio, which offers stunning views of the Okanagan.

Paul Davidson expressed his gratitude, stating, “We’d like to acknowledge the Callahan Property Group team for their exceptional service and collaboration that made it possible to bring this Save-On-Foods to the Ponds.”

Callahan Property Group and Save-On-Foods share a commitment to the community, demonstrated through their support of the Central Okanagan Food Bank’s Food Rescue program, and the KGH Foundation.

Save-On-Foods, Mission Village at the Ponds, is open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., seven days a week and is located at 940 Frost Road, Kelowna BC.

Fountain Tire selects Kelowna as location for new Distribution Centre

Callahan Property Group is excited to announce that Fountain Tire at 215 Beaver Lake Court is now fully operational. Their ± 83,650 sq. ft. building is one of Fountain Tire’s largest distribution centres in Western Canada.

Callahan Property Group takes pride in its dedication to working closely with tenants to understand and meet their evolving needs. For Fountain Tire, it was essential to customize the space to meet specific requirements, which is crucial in the specialized field of tire warehousing.

Kevin LeMercier, Director, Warehouse Operations at Fountain Tire, gave high praise for outstanding efforts in addressing their unique requirements: “Callahan Property Group had a thorough understanding of our specific needs and provided assistance in sourcing external resources wherever necessary.”

Fountain Tire had a positive experience throughout the leasing process and described it as “extremely collaborative.” LeMercier emphasized that the Callahan team was equally invested in their success and appreciated the clear lines of communication, regular update meetings, provision of construction progress pictures, and prompt responses to inquiries.

Tenant News: Lordco Auto Parts moves to Highway 97 & celebrates with grand opening

Callahan Property Group is pleased to announce that tenant Lordco Auto Parts has moved to a new location within our portfolio. The retailer of auto parts and accessories has relocated to 1540 Keehn Road, off Highway 97, one block from Highway 33. The space was previously home to Bed, Bath & Beyond.

Lordco Auto Parts moved from 1656 Dilworth Drive, off Enterprise Way and has been a tenant with Callahan Property Group at this location since 1996. The new store is ± 30,000 sq. ft and merges their two smaller operations at 1656 Dilworth Drive and 125 Hwy 33 in Rutland.

THE LARGER STORE MEANS that Lordco Auto Parts is able to increase the number of products on display, and provide an array of in-store services, including curbside pick-up, hose repair, paint mixing & matching, and battery recycling with battery purchase. The new location provides greater exposure to drive-by traffic, easier access and more parking for customers.

Lordco Auto Parts is Western Canada’s largest distributor and retailer of aftermarket auto parts and accessories. The business is family-owned and family-operated and sells everything for car, truck, RV and more. Lordco Auto Parts opened their first doors in 1974 in Maple Ridge (BC). They quickly established a reputation within the community for selling quality auto parts and for offering excellent customer service. 

GRAND OPENING
Lordco Auto Parts is celebrating its move to the new location with a grand opening for its customers and the general public on July 23rd from 10 am to 4 pm. The Milwaukee Tool Van is on-site, outfitted top to bottom with Milwaukee products…a dream workshop on wheels. Burgers will be served hot off the Car-BQ, a car converted into a barbecue, some cool cars will be on display in the parking lot, and visitors can enter a draw to win a Rock the Lake at Prospera Place prize pack, including two three-day festival passes.
