Freedom Mobile is continuing to grow and expand. They are on a mission to give Canadians more choice for affordable fast LTE data: “Wireless still costs way too much“.
Great addition to Mission Park Shopping Centre
Freedom Mobile is tapping into a lucrative market in Kelowna and Mission Park Shopping Centre is a fantastic location for doing business. There is definitely desire for affordable but reliable and fast mobile network plans. Plus there is still the preference to do business face to face. Mission Park Shopping Centre is known for its high traffic, and variety of customers. There is plenty of parking opportunity, and a variety of other stores to do your daily shopping.
The roll out of Freedom Mobile in Western Canada is big to say the least. British Columbia and Alberta will soon have great access to Freedom’s network.
Stores to open in Alberta and British Columbia
Already existing stores in British Columbia can be found in Victoria and the Lower Mainland, Kelowna will be the third store to open its doors in July. Other stores to open in July are located Prince Rupert and Nanaimo. In August Freedom Mobile will open their doors in Courtenay/Comox, Kamloops, Penticton, Vernon, Cranbrook, and Prince George. Freedom Mobile in Alberta has stores in Edmonton, Red Deer and Calgary, and will expand into Lethbridge (August) and Medicine Hat (July).
LTE Network
Freedom Mobile is successful in Eastern Canada, specifically in Ontario. Owned by Shaw Communications, it is the fourth largest mobile network operator in Canada. Since 2016 they have consistently grown, and they won’t stop to keep growing and enhancing their services. Freedom Mobile was the first Canadian wireless service provider to make use of Advanced Wireless Services, and has largely invested in building their own LTE network, securing a faster and better network.
Major Milestone
As promised, Freedom Mobile is now in the midst of enhancing their LTE network with their Extended Range LTE, its farthest reaching network coverage. The addition of Band 13 LTE (700MHZ low-band spectrum) means a better network that reaches farther and penetrates walls for better coverage in buildings, basements, and elevators.
