Wink I Wear Boutique has been an established presence in the Mission shopping district. The lower Mission staple has expanded both their services and the unique collection of eyewear. Dr. Tim Degelman and Dr. Laura Draycott have officially joined forces and moved to a newer, bigger, brighter and more beautiful location.
Wink I Wear started out six years ago as a funky, unique and fashion forward optical boutique. Founder Dr. Laura Draycott, retired chiropractor and licensed optician, brought spectacles to Kelowna that no other boutique carried. The unique inventory and Laura’s business sense, have made Wink I Wear the success it is today.
The optical boutique outgrew their previous space in Mission Park/Place Shopping Centre in the heart of Pandosy Village shopping district. With a need for in-house optometry and the desire to carry more unique brands and frames, Wink I Wear moved into their new corner space on Richter Street in the KPMG building. Still in the lower Mission, a stone throw away from their previous space, but it was just what they needed to accommodate the growth.
Wink I Wear offers now full service optometry and comprehensive eye exams with new partner Dr. Tim Degelman. Every eye exam is performed in-house with state of the art equipment, including Optos retinal imaging. This technology almost eliminates the need for eye dilation and provides a 200 degree retinal image, which will be reviewed in person with the optometrist. Dr. Tim Degelman brings over 26 years of expertise and experience and is a founding member of FYI Doctors. He is still on the board of directors.
