Callahan Property Group employees came together and raised over $1,450 in support of Kelowna Women’s Shelter. This essential organization provides critical assistance to women and children in our community who are facing domestic abuse.

The Kelowna Women’s Shelter stands as a beacon of hope and its mission is to supply women and children with everything they need to break free from the cycle of abuse. The provided support ranges from a 24/7 helpline to emergency & transitional housing, as well as outreach and support, second-stage housing and children programs. Their assistance is personalized to address the unique needs of each individual, ensuring that they receive the exact support they require to reclaim their lives and rebuild their future.

If you know someone facing abuse, the guidance we’ve received from the Shelter is clear: listen, believe, and ask how they would like you to support them. The Kelowna Women’s Shelter stands ready to assist them around the clock, 24/7, providing a safe haven for those in need.

Coming Together to support the BC Thanksgiving Food Drive

Food insecurity and hunger are real and amongst us.

The BC Thanksgiving Food Drive is an annual weekend initiative that delivers a large influx of food and financial support directly to local BC food banks, including the Central Okanagan, to help support the many families in need.

Members of our Callahan Property Group team volunteered their time and were hands-on sorting the thousands of pounds of food that came through the door on Saturday, collected from many doorsteps throughout the Kelowna area. The experience of working alongside the food bank team and other individual and corporate volunteers was inspiring and sheds light on the importance of this service. It is by coming together that we can take a stand against food insecurity and make a positive impact on those who need us most.

CPG Proudly Gives to Advance Stroke Care

Callahan Property Group is honoured to be part of a community of donors in support of the KGH Foundation Every Moment Matters Campaign to advance stroke care in our region.

Together, as a community, KGH Foundation raised $8 million to bring world-class stroke care to Kelowna General Hospital. Every year, thousands of patients and families in the southern interior of BC are impacted by a stroke. Current and future patients now have access to the specialized care that they need, close to home. This support contributes to all stages of stroke care, from onset to rehabilitation, to research and prevention.
